These Terms & Conditions govern your use of thonmai.shop (the "Site"), operated by Verdra Ventures LLP ("Thonmai", "we", "us", "our"). By using this Site, you agree to these terms.
1. Nature of this Site
This Site is informational and promotional. It does not currently process orders, payments, or deliveries. All "Buy" links direct you to Thonmai's official listings on Amazon.in and/or Flipkart.com, where the transaction is completed under that marketplace's own terms of sale, payment terms, and buyer protections. Thonmai is not a party to the contract formed between you and the marketplace for that purchase.
2. Product information and claims
We aim to keep product descriptions, certifications (e.g. FSSAI licence number, IS 544:2014 compliance) and nutrition information accurate and up to date. Descriptions of processing method (e.g. "wood-pressed," "cold-pressed") describe our production method and are not independently certified claims. In case of any discrepancy between this Site and the product label or marketplace listing, the physical product label governs.
3. Oil Usage Calculator
The Oil Usage Calculator tool is provided for general household planning purposes only. It is based on published ICMR-NIN dietary guidance for adults, and Thonmai's own estimates (scaled from ICMR-NIN data) for age groups not separately published by ICMR-NIN. It does not constitute medical, dietary or nutritional advice, and should not be used as a substitute for consultation with a registered dietitian or physician — particularly for children, pregnant or lactating individuals, or anyone managing a health condition. Thonmai is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of this tool's output.
4. Intellectual property
All text, images, logos, and other content on this Site are the property of Verdra Ventures LLP / Thonmai unless otherwise credited, and may not be reproduced without permission.
5. Third-party links
This Site links to third-party platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Instagram, WhatsApp). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those platforms.
6. Limitation of liability
This Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thonmai / Verdra Ventures LLP is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site.
